How are you? How's YOUr Heart?
This month I am focusing on heart health and one thing I have learned on my health journey is that our heart is spiritual, emotional, and physical. We often picture the heart as this physical beating organ sitting in our chest, but what if it so much more?
In my book Bye Bye Normal Hello Exceptional: Living a Life of Less Stress and More Energy! I talk about the heart a lot. I mean, it’s pretty important- it’s what keeps us alive- right.
I believe we hold our beliefs in our spiritual hearts. There are really 2 types of beliefs- limiting beliefs and empowering beliefs.
Limiting beliefs are fear-based.
Empowering beliefs are love-based.
When we are living from limiting beliefs, it causes stress and affects our physical heart. Frustration, anger, anxiety, worry, and irritation all cause havoc on our entire being. It disconnects our spiritual, emotional, and physical heart and is what the science world calls incoherence. (See picture below: Red = incoherence). I call it out of balance or some just feel out of sync — off — ENERGY less. We can actually see this using tools like the Inner Balance from HeartMath.
When we can flip a belief from limiting to empowering, it feels amazing. When we no longer feel like the world is overwhelming us but embrace the unconditional love for ourselves and appreciation for who we are and what we do, it brings us into coherence- balance- in sync. It’s not only an exceptional feeling, but it’s also good for YOUr physical heart too. This graphic shows my client using HeartMath techniques to get more balanced. Doesn't that blue wave look calm and relaxed compared to the blue wave up above?
