When you become accustomed to the stimulation of stress, ongoing tension, strain, and worry start to seem "normal". After all, most people you know feel this way. Their workloads and pressures are so intense they believe they can’t take time to deal with stress. There is an unrelenting pressure to buy or do more. The world itself is a stressor with terror reports, weather reports, and heightened alerts, and people don’t know where the world is headed. Then there is the family crisis that seems to be around every corner. This creates a gnawing insecurity and for many a hopeless resignation. It’s time to handle the stressor for what they are, stressors. We don't have to claim them and take the external storms and make them internal. It’s time for a change. It's time for exceptional.
